Abstract: The article comments on the paper "Is the corporation killing engineering excellence?," by Keith Clarke. Regarding organizational types, as being worked for by civil engineers, the author believes that there is significant omission from the statement that 20 years ago their profession was ruled by private partnerships and nationalized industries. He points to the contractor type of organization. Moreover, he also pointed out the issues concerning safety.
