Abstract

The article reports on the result of the study conducted by Dr. Robert Cumming regarding the use of vision correction in elderly patients in Australia. The study found out that those elderly patients who adopt to updated vision correction have greater risks for falling accidents and fractures. Cumming explained that one reason for the findings is the time needed by the patients to adjust to new eyeglasses.
