Abstract
- The article assesses the future of the Brazilian combat aviation in Brazil. The Brazilian Air Force has acquired the MIRAGE 2000C/Bs from French Air Force, as well as the five F-5E TIGER II fighters and four F-5F combat-capable trainers which will be modernized to the F-5EM configuration. According to the author, the current combat aircraft assets are indispensable in view of the regional political instability.
