Abstract: This article presents a study regarding a 47-year-old woman who was evaluated for progressive, transfusion-dependent thrombocytopenia and anemia. Biopsy of bone marrow was hypocellular with scant hematopoietic elements, interstitial aggregates of T-lymphocytes by CD3 immunostaining, and increased suppressor T cells by flow cytometry.
