In the title salt, C5H7N2+·C7H5O4−,anions are linked through O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into an infinite C22(16) chain parallel to the [010] direction. Adjacent chains are further organized into a three-dimensional supra­molecular structure based on N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
