FROM THE EDITOR - I NEVER HEARD "WALTZING MATILDA": NOTES FROM A CONFERENCE IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.

The article reports on the International Council on Women's Health Issues that was held in Sydney, Australia. Most papers presented on the conference focus on women's issues such as societal and domestic violence as well as inadequate access to family planning services. The author states that she learned a lot from the conference: that aboriginal Australians have high rate of molecular mortality and aboriginal children lives with four times more stress than other Australian children.
