Abstract
- The article presents a study for the assessment of how much of the cellulose ether used by conservators can actually be dissolved from paper samples. Cellulose ethers used in the study included ethylcellulose, methylcellulose and hydroxyl propyl methylcellulose supplied by Dow Chemical Co. Quality writing paper were used for preparing paper samples.
