Abstract
- The article reports that Schneider Electric North America is not opting for human resource outsourcing (HRO). According to the author, the company sent its compensation manager Shalin Kothari to the 2006 Human Resources Outsourcing Conference although the company has no plans to outsource. Kothari stated that he went to the conference to remain on top of best practices. Analysts believe that Schneider's approach shows the importance for companies to assess their own organizations thoroughly before signing an HRO deal.
