Abstract: The article discusses the state of Christianity in India. According to the author, reports say that the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh will practice Surya Namaskar or salute to the Sun on January 25, 2007. He also adds that although India has been a secular democratic republic, Christians are still not safe and at the same time, discriminated because of beliefs of non-Christian groups.
