Abstract
- The article presents a speech by Hegumen Philaret Bulekov, a Russian Orthodox Church representative, delivered at the Seminar of the Council of Europe held on October 30, 2006 in Strasbourg, France. He discusses the evolution of human rights in a multicultural society, as well as the concept of freedom and religion. He also narrates the three generations of rights which include civil and political at the first generation, economic and social on the second, and group rights on the third.
