Abstract

The author expresses his feelings about various libraries located at Harvard University. The author points out that no matter how well a university library is designed or constructed, what really matters are the books that are inside of them. It is the author's belief that university libraries seldom have books that students actually want to read. The author recounts his experiences at Harvard University and going to the libraries located throughout the campus. He discusses what it was like going to Harvard's Widener library and the Lowell House Library for the first time.
