Abstract

The article examines tax havens and their role in promoting competition in the reduction of taxes among nations. The negative results of excessive competition on taxes is assessed, noting that developing nations are less likely to weather lowered taxes than developed ones. Tax havens can have a negative impact on the corporate governance of organizations that use them.
