Abstract

The article describes the role of chromatin in biology. The German scientist Walther Flemming use the term chromatin for describing the vastly complex machinery of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and proteins within cell nuclei. It is a seething mass of interacting molecular machines that together control the life and death processes in living things.
