Abstract

The article offers information about ectopic pregnancy. It is a major gynecologic emergency resulting from significant morbidity for the mother and inevitable loss of the pregnancy. It can be varied from minor symptoms to sudden collapse. Also, it produces a diagnostic dilemma and a management problem. However, through advances in medical care, most women will survive and will be diagnosed early to allow conservative management with resulting lower morbidity and possible anatomic conservation.
