Abstract
- The article talks about American philosopher Charles S. Peirce's review of "Ethics," by Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza. It focuses on the remarks of Peirce about mathematical reasoning in the review. It states that Peirce depicted that mathematical reasoning is always at the front of thought and rejects logical demonstration. It notes that Peirce considered true mathematical thought as pre-logical.
