RECOGNITION FOR NEARLY 1,000 50-YEAR ACS MEMBERS.

The article reports on the recognition award which will be given to almost 1,000 members who have rendered valuable service to the American Chemical Society (ACS) in the U.S. ACS will give the awards to members who have been with the society for 50 years. The honors include a special pin and a 50-year membership card, which entitle holders for free attendance in all the society's meetings. There will also be local section awards for it's 50-year members who will be given certificates.
