Abstract
- The article reports on the invention of an erasable paper that fades printed text within 16 to 24 hours when exposed to a specific wavelength of light, developed by a research team at Xerox Research Centre in Canada and Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in California. Eric Shrader, PARC area manager of industrial ink-jet systems, noted that the experimental printing technology will reduce paper use, but its commercial availability would take a long way.
