Abstract: The article highlights the Emballage Exhibition held in Paris, France on November 2006. More than 1,166 exhibitors and 105,000 visitors attended the event, making it the year's largest international event for the packaging industry. Mondi Packaging demonstrated its improved closing machine for paper bags which has a PE-inner sack while Agfa Graphics displayed several solutions including its Dotrix high-speed industrial inkjet press. Esko also announced that Xerox will be a European distributor for some of its packaging software and hardware.
