- The article focuses on the importance of having a good credit score, checking credit scores, and establishing credit with the use of credit cards. A discussion of the factors which affect an individual's credit score, including prompt bill payment, the amount of debt which is owed by the individual, and the length of an individual's credit history, is presented.
