Abstract
- The article offers news briefs on atmospheric and space environments. The Jacchia-Bowman new empirical thermospheric atmospheric density model has been developed. The final flight tests for an airborne W and X band radar for cloud physics, dynamics and cloud remote detection research are undergoing at the Institute for Aerospace Research of the National Research Council of Canada. The list of the Research Focus Areas for the Aircraft Icing Research Alliance was updated.
