Abstract

The article reflects on the need for British farmers to collaborate and device effective strategy to market and distribute locally produced food. Customers trust local sourcing, are confident in its traceability and prefer the branding of food from specific localities. Regional food producers must maintain quality and service. It cites the challenge facing the food and farming industry in promoting and selling regional food in specific outlets.
