Abstract

The article focuses on the completion of a contract to elevate the 2-mile portion of Route 164 in Portsmouth, Virginia by a design-build team led by contractor Tidewater Skanska and designer Vanasse Hangen Brustlin. The cost of the project is $22 million. The team received a bonus of $50,000 for completing the project five days earlier.
