Abstract: The article discusses the viability of encouraging foreign-born scientists and engineers to immigrate to the U.S. and strengthening science and math education in elementary and preschool education in order to close the shortage of science and engineering talents. U.S. is not actively recruiting foreign scientist due to comparatively less advanced science education in foreign universities.
