Abstract
- This article discusses relief for rescue workers who became ill after helping with the September 11, 2001 terror attack cleanup in New York City. The $40 million set aside by the U.S. federal government to help these sick workers will run out during 2007, according to estimates from physicians and U.S. federal officials. The article notes that an estimated $250 million is needed to fully treat each sick worker.
