Abstract
- The article offers information on the developments in orthokeratology research discussed during the European Ortho Keratology (Ortho K) Symposium held in Europe in 2006. A literature review by professor Patrick Caroline on myopia control noted that studies have failed to provide support for multifocal spectacles as a method for myopia control in children. Presenters Caroline Christie and Ron Beerten focused on upgrading existing wearers of modern Ortho K lenses.
