Abstract
- The article discusses a library exhibit at the University of South Carolina which was based on the book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon. All first-year students were required to read the book before entering the university in the fall of 2005, and the library was asked to arrange an exhibit to complement other events based on the book. The author describes how the library met the challenge of creating an exhibit around a book by a first-time novelist, and how they were able to incorporate information literacy instruction.
