Unruly Muslim Women and Threats to Liberal Culture.

The article discusses the consequences of September 11 attacks on the socio-cultural life in the United States. The inefficiency of the administration to curb the situation is also discussed. The author highlights the injustices meted out to the Muslim in the name of terrorism and the dependency on racial profiling. The hijab, for the women has lately become the focus of suspicion and all adherents of Islam, are indiscriminately labelled as a threat to the country.
