Abstract
- This essay presents the author's comment on the description of size in the poems of M. Travis Lane. The poet had a fascination with matters small and large. She celebrates the miniature more often than the massive in her nine books of poems. Lane has expressed an uneasiness with largeness in her poem "About the Size of It." In the poem "In the Garden of Mildewed Roses," Lane describes smallness as disillusioned and self-deprecating.
