Building School Partnerships With Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Families.

The article focuses on building school partnerships with culturally and linguistically diverse families. The author's opinion is that parental involvement is often the missing link in efforts to lift the achievement of culturally and linguistically diverse students. A program called the Parent Partnership for Achieving Literacy is described. It was created to improve relationships between teachers and families, and help in their understanding one another.
