Abstract
- The article discusses reality and its significance to mankind and science. An example of an over-reaching and precise physical theory is scientist Albert Einstein's magnificent general theory of relativity which improves upon the accurate Newtonian theory of gravity. In the behavior of the solar system, Newton's theory is precise to something like one part in 107. Einstein's theory has become relevant when gravitational fields get large.
