Abstract: The article presents an abstract of the paper "Hippocampal Kindling Enhances Stimulation-Induced Cox-2 Gene Expression in Cortex and Hippocampus," which will be presented at the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from March 14-17, 1999. The paper discusses a kindling model of epilepsy to investigate cyclooxygenase-2 upregulation of gene transcription.
