Abstract
- The article focuses on the activities of the International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) National Committee (NC) in Ireland. In July 2005, the NC was formally recognised at the 38th World Conference of the ICTM at the University of Sheffield in England. A draft constitution was formed and plans for a Web site were considered at the first meeting of the NC in May 2006. The ICTM Ireland will provide a forum for collaboration between institutions.
