WOODY BIOMASS AS RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE.

The article focuses on the multiphase research project conducted by the Center for Energy and Environment in Minneapolis, Minnesota that would assess the feasibility and cost effectiveness of regional biomass generated electricity projects that tap into local feedstock. The said project has received almost $400,000 in grant monies from the Renewable Development Fund and has formulated several studies that focuses on the different areas concerning biomass assessment. One of the study shows that biomass processing generally involves three steps such as drying, sizing, and cleaning.
