Abstract
- The article discusses the different level of forgiveness in the newly formed concept of democracy which is apart from the democratic concept during the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. This different level of forgiveness was best demonstrated by a widow of one victim in the planned bombing, one of the notorious operatives of the Apartheid regime in South Africa, to Eugene de Kock. Kock was the leader of the Apartheid regime in South Africa. According to the author, the dramatic act of forgiveness of the widow to Kock can be described as an act of profound practicality.
