Abstract
- The article presents an award given to Marcia K. Johnson for her contribution in science by the American Psychological Association. The award was given in recognition for her studies in the cognitive and neural processes that constitute the subjective experience in mental life. Johnson took up doctor's degree at University of California and became a professor of Psychology at Yale University. She began to focus on the mechanisms underlying the attribution of mental experiences to memory in order to confront some issues raised by constructive and reconstructive processes.
