Abstract
- The article discusses the results of studies evaluating the usefulness of evidence based nonpharmacological interventions for the management of neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with dementia. Data are acquired by reviewing relevant bibliographies from MEDLINE, PsycINFO, the Cochraine Library published from January 1966 to December 2005. The findings suggest the effectiveness of bright light therapy and interventions that address behavioral issues.
