SMIC, Cadence Aim to Streamline Wireless Design in China.

This article reports on a partnership between Shanghai, China-based Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. and San Jose, California-based Cadence Design Systems Inc. to deliver a Radio-Frequency (RF) Design Methodology Kit to the China RF integrated circuit design market. The kits will support the Cadence RF Design Methodology Kit and will validate the CMOSRF 180-nanometer process-design kits in a test chip by the end of the year.
