Abstract
- The article discusses the attempts to reform the devolved government of Northern Ireland, which has been essentially non-functional for four years. This political solution ignores the reality, that under the facade of new buildings and designer shops, Belfast (Northern Ireland) remains embroiled in the old conflict and is dealing with the tensions by creating two separate societies for Catholics and Protestants.
