Abstract

Boron fuel is made up of the element boron. Boron as a chemical fuel will be a promising engine fuel in the future. Cars in which boron fuel simply burns will be true zero emission vehicles. Total world production of boron minerals was approximately 4,270,000 tons in 2000. Turkey has the largest boron sources in the world. It is estimated that about 64% of the known reserves are in Turkey, which has a substantial boron extraction industry. The amount of this resource is about 2.5 million tons and has high tenor and quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
