Abstract: Studies the incidence of type 2 diabetes which has increased dramatically in the past decade in Pima (Akimel O'odham) children, aged 5-17 years, living in the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). Implementation of the diabetes primary prevention program called Quest; Four components of the Quest program; Risk factors; How the Pima Indian children diagnosed with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) were treated.
