Encouraging community nursing research.

This article reports on the appointment of Saras Henderson from Curtin University of Technology's School of Nursing and Midwifery as Corporate Research Consultant at the South Metropolitan Area Health Service of Western Australia as part of its commitment to community health nursing. For the past three years, Henderson has worked with multi-disciplinary staff to build a strong and sustainable research culture, across nursing, allied health, Aboriginal health workers and management staff.
