Geophysics: Same old magnetism.

The article presents the principle of geocentric axial dipole model, and analysed the paleo-magnetization of salt bedded rocks from 2.5 billion years of the world. The data indicates that the evaporites have been deposited predominantly between latitudes 10 degrees and 35 degrees, supporting uniformitarianism. The author disagrees with the principle of working from the known to the unknown, however, considers the work is commandable and well documented.
