The article cites the research which asked engineers on their views on engineers as managers in companies in Great Britain. Findings revealed that 61 percent believed that engineering education was a good training for management. In terms of handling the financial aspects of business, 67 percent said they can do it confidently. Furthermore, 55 percent said they would be glad to do a presentation to venture capitalists, while 78 percent liked that more engineers will manage firms.
