Abstract

The article profiles new Geography Department staff at Otago University in New Zealand. Douglas Hill is a development geographer who came to Otago at the start of 2006. John Orwin has a background in hydrogeomorphology where he has focused on field-based application of modern geographical techniques to mountain hydrologic and geomorphic problems. Helen Power became one of the staff in 2004.
