Abstract
- The article reports on the defamation case filed by the former president Sam Nujoma against the "The Namibian." His lawyers from the Sisa Namandje and Co. argued that the papers published an affidavit that implied Nujoma as corrupt and abused his power. The paper also reported on Nujoma's alleged overspending of budget. The cost of the defence is high and may put the paper out of business even if it wins.
