Abstract
- The article reports on the self-advocacy development research involving people with learning disabilities in Czech Republic. The research shows that significant change evolves in the life of people with learning disabilities in the country including the institutional care. The research reveals that fall of communism in 1989 and the entry into the European union in 2004 had been the two major events that caused the impulse changes.
