Abstract

The article analyzes the institutional, philosophical and ideological sources of the new Turkish foreign policy, that animates the country's contemporary relations with the neighbors and Middle East. The author doubts the objective validity and rational frameworks of the new theories constructed by neo-conservatives. The article also reflects on the practical aspects of new Turkish foreign policy under the government of Adalet ve Kalkinma party.
