Abstract
- The article reports that the paintings of Diego VelÁzquez will be exhibited at the National Gallery, London, from October 18, 2006 until January 21, 2007. Born in Seville in 1599, VelÁzquez began painting everyday scenes known as bodegones. The article discusses the techniques of VelÁzquez as well as public reactions to his work.
