Transforming Our Army—A Soldier's Perspective.

The author reflects on the issue of U.S. Army transformation and what it means to soldiers in active duty. According to the author, the word transformation cannot be observed in the lives of the soldiers as well as their spouses and children. The concept means the Army is moved from a threat-based force to the capabilities-based force. Efforts include lengthening the Situational Training Exercise and restructuring of the Primary Leadership Development Course.
