Abstract

The article presents an interview with New Zealand Health Service Chief Nurse Mark Jones. According to Jones when asked about his decision to be a chief nurse in the country, he referred to his background in primary health care. He has shared that his motivation in deciding to work in the country was because nursing offers the best solution to most health challenges. His goals for the country's nursing services include a system where anyone can be educated to be a nurse.
